Vegan Cruelty Free cleaning with Method Daily Kitchen Spray
Let’s make one thing clear, I don’t ever get excited about cleaning or cleaning products. It takes me all day to clean the bathroom (probably because there is so much stuff in there). Our kitchen always looks like vegetable massacre scene because I try to cook from scratch as much as possible. I’ve always cleaned everything with Domestos spray bleach and Jamie likes to use water and vinegar in spray bottle. This means that the house ends smelling like a chippy or hospital – neither of which is ideal. When I was offered to try some Method products I was a bit sceptical because I’ve used ‘environmentally friendly’ cleaning products before but they just didn’t seem up to the job. Well now I’m eating my words!
Method Daily Kitchen Cleaner is fooking amazing and here’s why:
- Cleans all manner of grease and sticky surfaces
- Non-toxic made from plant ingredients
- Scent is fresh and not overpowering
- Doesn’t have a ‘middle class’ price tag (£3 for 828ml bottle)
As I share my house with Trenty my 10-year-old house panther, it’s important that I don’t use anything with harsh chemicals on places he might go. He’s a good boy and never jumps on the kitchen counter tops, but he does like to lay on my desk near the window and uses a cat flap. This cleaned his cat flap beautifully (it was filthy) and the surface of my desk which he probably gets dirty again with all the stuff attached to his fur from outside. Either way I know he won’t be harmed by Method.
There are loads of other cleaning and household products that Method do and they really are worth a look if you are looking for an alternative to traditional household chemicals. Method products are available on their website, supermarket & diy stores, and green product websites.
