The Haus of Gloi is in effect

Yes I admit I’ve been slow on the draw to try anything from the Haus of Gloi but I was lucky enough to win some HoG goodies a few months ago from Katie at My Lips But Better.

Litchi Milk Tea Soft Bubbling Scrub 6 oz/$8.00 – Wow what can I say this scrub is delicious, you have to be a master perfumer to blend such a subtle yet bold fragrance. This reminds me of Thai coconut milk curry and yes I want to chomp on myself after using it. This scrub is quite dry and thick in consistency so you don’t have to worry about creating a slippery death trap in your tub which can put a lot of people off using body scrubs in the first place. I know why HoG scrubs get so many good reviews; they take off several layers of flakiness, leave your skin softer than silk and smell divine. The scrub melts on contact with wet skin scrub but not before you are able to scrub yourself stupid – is there any other way?

Litchi Milk Tea Body Emulsion 8oz/$11.00 – I don’t think you would need a body lotion after using the scrub, I find it’s always nice to have matching scented products. This emulsion is goes on like a dream and is lightly perfumed. I’ve not used this much during the summer as I’m saving it for winter.

Lip Balm $3.50 and Perfume Oil 5ml/$12.00 – The lip balms are also smooth and creamy like the body emulsion and they smell like their name sakes. The Zazz perfume oil is no longer on the website so it may only be a seasonal item. The scent is somewhere between cherry cola and pine needles – not really my thing but interesting none the less.

I will be laying down some £££ for the Halloween scents, I’m just waiting for a few bits to come into stock. So what are you favourite Gloi products?

Absinthe completely owns me. And sorry to say since it’s seasonal, but Beguiled (Valentines) was absolutely knockout dreamy.
