Every little helps – Tesco Vitamin E Face Scrub Review
If you are really anti-Tesco then look away now. I know there are some people out there that get annoyed that £1 in every £7 that is spent on the high street goes to this grocery giant (according 2008 figures). I don’t do my weekly shop at Tesco, I’m a Sainsbury’s girl myself. But I do venture in there now and again to get lunch, or pick up odds and ends for my tea. I don’t normally go down the ‘beauty’ aisle either but I spotted this range out of the corner of my eye when I was getting some tissues and decided to have a look. I have no idea how long this has been around and it looks similar to Body Shop Vitamin E range with the nice pink packaging. Jamie laughed when I brought this home and thought it was going to be rubbish and when I told it was just 60p he said it will definitely be rubbish.
The first time I used it I squeezed out way too much and my face felt a little tight afterwards. But the scent is lovely and fresh, similar again to Body Shop Vitamin E but who cares? I thought it was going to stink link Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Face Scrub but it was much nicer. There isn’t a massive amount of scrubbing grains per square inch but the price reflects this and I would never compare it my beloved Aesop Exfoliating Paste. However I have to say this does a pretty good job. I have greasy skin so it mopped up the oil and my skin didn’t feel stripped afterwards when I used a smaller amount. As there aren’t a lot of scrubbing grains this would be good for someone who is new to exfoliation or doesn’t like rough scrubs. I think this is a great everyday face wash for anyone who is skint which would probably be a good portion of the population. You can’t argue with 150ml of face wash for 60p. And just in case you were wondering, this is made in the UK and Paraben free too!
