Beat the January blues with Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Shower Gel & Scrub

As silly as it sounds I’ve been wanting to try S&P Sugar Crush Body Wash for like for-ever. The only thing that has stopped me buying it is that I have so many shower gels I couldn’t justify purchasing another… And I think Jamie would have noticed if I snuck another one in the shower. But my bestie Lauren picked me up a bottle along with the scrub for Christmas!

Body Wash £6.50 for 500ml

I love that this is generous bottle and a great price. January is always about being skint because you get paid early, Christmas blows your budget and the weeks before you get paid again at the end of the month seem never ending. This body wash is on the thinner side but it foams up really well. The Sugar Crush scent is infused with kaffir limes which is a different twist on the usual lemon/orange citrus scents. Vanilla musk and coconut oil round off the scent to make it sweet.

Body Scrub £8 for 500ml

This is also a generous size of thick, sweet limey smelling scrub. This contains brown sugar so you can get good friction on dry or wet skin.  They have changed the formulation slightly since I did my first full review back in 2011. It’s less oily than it was before so you may want to use the Sugar Crush body butter afterwards if you feel your skin needs it.

What have you been using to get out of the January funk?

How I wish we had Soap & Glory in Greece, they look so delicious! In order to pamper myself and take care of my skin I’ve been slapping on body lotion AND body oil, my skin has never been softer ;) x
