My new favourite shower gel – Jurlique Rose

The lovely Madam M from the Beauty Dispensary sent this to me in a AUS/USA beauty exchange. I have to say when I saw it I wasn’t sure if I would like it as heavy florals aren’t my bag. This sat in my cupboard because I forgot I had it, then I read a review of it from Lara from Swatch Girl another Australian beauty blogger which prompted me to find it. Lara said it was more like a garden rather than straight up rose which I totally agree. There is a scent of freshly turned dirt and mixture of flowers rather than being fake and perfumey. This is a nice thick gel and the cap closes tightly so you shouldn’t have any spillage.

This would make a nice gift for anyone who is into gardening as I think they would appreciate the scent.  As you can see I’ve enjoyed it so much I nearly forgot to take a photo of it before I finished it. This retails for around £16 and I think it’s totally worth it. Jurlique also do a Lavender shower gel and I may try that one next as this was so nice.

What are you faves from Jurlique?

This looks really lovely – I love the bottle. I think my mum would absolutely adore this as she really likes gardening so I may have to pick her up a bottle at some point! x

Hey Beccy – The bottle is really good to travel with too. I’ve brought this with me to the US and it hasn’t been a problem. Jamie uses this too so you know it’s not super girly! xoxo

I have a love affair with Jurlique, a while ago I had a little splurge on the body lotion and the hand cream and the scents were divine, I am not a huge fan of rose, but it is so lovely. Great review. Thankyou.

Your welcome Jan, I always like it when I push myself out of my scent comfort zone to find something new and exciting! :D
