Quick Review – True Blue Spa ‘Just a minute’ 60 Second Manicure Scrub

I was lucky enough to get this sent to me by my personal Bath & Body Works shopper – my lovely mom! I really like the scrubs in the True Blue Spa range and they used to do my absolute favourite scrub of all time but I won’t talk about in this post – I will leave that for my blog anniversary next month.

One of the things I love about this little tub-o-scrub is the plastic lid that comes with to keep the scrub from getting everywhere. Not all scrubs have this but they should. I really dislike foil lids, plastic or anything that I have to peel back. Why? Because it’s fiddly, and never comes off in one go. I would rather there be nothing than a screw top lid than having to mess about with the equivalent of a seal that you would find a on Müller Fruit Corner. This plastic lid sits flush in the top of the tub and it has a little tab to help you lift it off.

This is a very lurid orange coloured exfoliator and it smells like Calypso ice lollies. It’s a gel based sugar scrub that rinses clean so you don’t have to worry about any oily residue on your fingers and nails before you start your manicure. It also feels nice on your feet and will make your toes smell nice.

I also like to use this scrub after I’ve been chopping onions or garlic just to give my hands a good clean. This is available at Bath & Body Works for $12, but as B&BW always have some kind of sale or offer on you may be able to get it cheaper.

Sounds like something my hands need to get rid of the dry patches, not sure about the smell you describe though… never liked those lollys. lol

Hey Red! The scent is quite strong and does hit you in the face, I’ll see if I can find a hand scrub that smells like a Galaxy or Magnum!

This looks great, love a good hand scrub and should remember to do it more often than I do!
