What I’m loving now – Intoxicating Davana Blossom from Molton Brown
It’s not that often I find a perfume that I really like and this one just happens to be from one of my favourite beauty brands. Intoxicating Davana Blossom is girly without being sickly sweet, feminine without being helpless, and womanly without being overly sexual. It’s a heady tropical fragrance which is a great comfort in the winter. The perfume has notes of orange flower, jasmine, bergamont, neroli, and of course the davana blossom from southern India. The chunky glass bottle feels reassuring and it’s small enough to travel with. If you are buying this as a gift it comes a beautiful box that is wrapped in the MB signature ribbon. This is £45 for 100ml.
The body cream comes in a long burgundy cylindrical tube that’s also easy to travel with. Unlike the other Molton Brown body lotions this has a smaller pump with a lid. The cream is rich but not too thick and spreads easily. It is permeated with the same fragrance and using it with the perfume makes the scent last all day. This is £26 for 150ml.
There is also Intoxicating Davana Blossom Shower Satine which is a milky shower gel that leaves your skin super soft and delicately perfumed and retails at £26 for 150ml. And for those of you who love to indulge in baths there is a Intoxicating Davana Blossom foaming bath oil that contains grapeseed, raspberry, blackseed, and star flower oils. This is £40 for 300ml.
