It’s all I can do….

As most of you know by now, the last 8 weeks or so for me haven’t been the best but I’m now coming through the other side. Which means I’m ready to blog again on a regular basis. I’ve tried many times to sit down and write a review or anything but when your brain doesn’t function I’d rather not give my readers any old rubbish so I haven’t bothered. I know you haven’t been waiting with baited breath for me to return, I don’t see myself as that important but it is nice to get little messages asking if I’m okay.

I’ve also been thinking about the weight loss thing and for I’ve decided for now I can’t face it, and that I’m better off trying again in the New Year. I don’t feel like I have the head space for points, shopping, and making different meals so we don’t get bored eating chili every week. After my hours drop further after Christmas, I’ll be free to make more things from scratch and experiment. Trying to rustle up something different, tasty and healthy at 6pm in evening just doesn’t happen at the moment.

So come 2013 I’ll be in the queue with all the other ladies and gents with the spirit of hope in their hearts and minds at actually losing a significant amount of weight. This section of my website will turn into healthy living – by no means a ‘lifestyle’ section  but just me trying to get my body and mind in order and keep it that way. I’ve started a weekly yoga class so that in itself should yield some interesting posts!

    Glad to hear you’re feeling better. Have you ever tried calorie counting? I tried Weight Watchers & Slimming World and I too got bored of eating the same things. I use an app called MyFitnessPal (I think there is also a website too) and you can just keep a kinda food dairy/log for the day. Anyways just thought I’d share in case it’s of any use as I too am trying to lose weight
