It’s alive – my franken hand wash!

So yesterday I told you about my empties and said that I cheated with a few? Well here it is – my hand wash creation with the dregs of Tesco face wash, Anatomicals shower gel, He-shi shower scrub, and N-spa raspberry shower gel. I did actually finish this Compagnie De Provence Orange Blossom liquid soap but I thought I’d save my money (and my sanity) and use the last bits of a few things that would have sat in the shower forever. It seems when they get to the last 1/4 of the bottle they suddenly get ignored, so I think this is the way forward for a few months whilst I’m finishing off some more shower gels.

So what do you think of my franken, good idea/bad idea?

How does it smell?

It looks….. a bit volcanic, but if it does the trick (and smells good) then its a good mad experiment

@MsRed – It does smell pretty good and your right is does look volcanic. Jamie was impressed too!
@AKB – Thanks I did wonder if I was a bit crazy at first but I’m saving the environment (I think) x
@Beauty Soiree – The layers happened by themselves if I tried to re-create it again I’m sure I’d fail!

Thanks for your comments beauty babes! xoxo

It really does look cool! I sometimes mix together my lotions, but I haven’t made a hand wash. I might try it :)

What a fab idea, I will be collecting all my half empty bottles of once loved products and making my own volcanic hand wash. Jude xx @jadlgw

Haha, that looks awesome!! What a great idea mixing all those products together, I’ll definitely be doing that next time I have a few products on the verge of finish :) xx

@Aseya – I recommend it, it’s a great way to get rid the last few bits of things you’ll never use up.
@Jude – I want to see a picture of your volcanic handwash please!
@Joy – I never thought this would make such a splash (pardon the pun) with everyone.

Thanks ladies I’m glad I could share my creation with you x

Franken anything is good as look as you don’t end up with an unuseable yucky brown mish mash!! I think it looks great…love the colours! :) xxx

Great idea I should do this. I’m terrible for rejecting things when they’re almost done… I replace them and want to use the new product immediately!

This is such a good idea! I have to admit earlier this week I did condense all of Chris’s shower gels down into 2 bottles because there were simply too many on the shelf, ok I admit it I wanted more room for my stuff! x

@Ms Wedgie – I’m sure if I tried to make a franken polish it would be sludgy brown!
@Jade – Yes I agree it does look a bit spooky but it works!
@Strawberry Blonde – Well I nearly cracked a threw a bunch of things out before they were finished, I will definitely be doing this again!
@Karla – Your a girl after my own heart! Boys don’t need lots of products he he

Thanks for stopping by ladies, I really appreciate your comments!

Looks insane! Don’t know how they’d all work together but hey, it just might be the next best thing.

@Adriana – Why thank you my dear I thought it was pretty clever myself!
@Taylor – Well everytime I use the hand wash I get a different sensation and scent, it’s working pretty good so far and the colours have changed too!

Thanks for stopping by ladies x
