Well the numpties at Google aka Larry Page and Sergey Brin, have decided to ditch Google Friend Connect for bloggers like me who are not on the Google owned Blogger platform. As of this Thursday, 1 March you will no longer see COPD in your feed if you follow me through Google Friend Connect. They want bloggers like me to switch over to Google+ but I already have a lots of other social media platforms to look after. If you still want all the latest and greatest from myself then you’ve got the following options:

Follow COPD on Bloglovin’

Follow COPD on Hello Cotton

Follow COPD on Twitter

Follow COPD on Facebook

Subscribe to COPD Feed

You can now also follow me on Pinterest where I’ll be pinning things like cats, low-carb recipes, nails, and any other random stuffs. Hopefully I won’t lose much readership due to this change but it’s out of my hands. I spent the better part of a day moving all the blogs I follow from Google Reader to Bloglovin’ and Hello Cotton. I was fed up with the way GR aggregates the feeds and I found that some go away and randomly come back which means I’ve probably missed posts from the blogs I follow. Now that I’ve switched over BL and HC I feel confident that I’ll see everything that you all post and find some new blogs as well.

Thanks for reading! :D

I don’t really understand why they’re removing GFC for non blogger sites. It was such a great way to stay in contact and get an easy feed update with new posts..
Glad to see there are some other options out there!

Hi Phil, thanks for stopping by! Well Google owns a lot of stuff that we bloggers like to use like Picnic which they are also getting rid of and trying to get us to use their other services. If I wasn’t a blogger I wouldn’t know the difference would you?

Is this because you have your own URL? I’ll make sure to add you everywhere else lol! x

Yes it is, I pay for my own domain and hosting and don’t use the Blogger platform. Thankfully their are other options for people to follow me on! Glad you’ll be sticking around :D
