He said/she said – Boscia Pore Purifying Black Strips

Now I know I’m probably in the minority but I do like a good nose strip and we always do them after face masks on Sunday evening which just feels right for some reason. These nose strips have a very heavy duty look and feel but they taper well on the nose – even large man size ones like mine. These are a lot more flexible when they come off too so you don’t get that feeling of hardened paper mache like you do with the pound store variety. My nose definitely feels better after using these plus there is something very statisfying about ripping it off your face.

These nose strips are from my newest skincare discovery Boscia. Now I know what you are thinking ‘been there done that’ but holy cow these are like putting black electrical tape on your face and ripping it off. I don’t know if it’s because the fabric is black which makes it easier to see the gunk but every time I’ve used them it looks like it takes a layer of skin off. I didn’t notice loads of blackheads on my strip (because I already have gorgeous nose skin right?) but the ones that were extracted were deep. I won’t gross you out with a picture of the pay off but lets just say it’s worthy of CSI.

I debated about buying these again when we were in the US as they are $15 for 6 but I caved in at the last minute and got another box from Sephora. I suppose we better make these last then eh?

Anyone else try these or other Boscia skincare?

I like that these are black, seem a lot cooler that way. I find pore strips grossly fascinating, I got my man onto them and his nose has never been nicer:D

When I’m annoyed with Jamie I make him do the cheap pound shop ones and then I get rip them off! He didn’t believe me when I told him he needed to use them but now he asks to do them. We know best right? :D

I can just picture the two of you cozying up on a Sunday evening, sporting your black nose strips! How cute! They do look pretty cool I must admit – I really hate that stiff paper feeling Jamie is talking about. Great review :)

Well they just looked the ‘Porsche’ of nose strips and I suppose they are. I guess I’m going to have to get my mom to send me more when we run out. Thanks darling xoxo

Your review made me chuckle! I wish I could get hold of these in the UK, I seem to suffer with blackheads/whiteheads on my nose and chin and it would be good to find some decent strips to use as the Superdrug ones are okay but not exactly brilliant!

Love the two of you doing your beauty routine! I don’t really use nose strips, as the cheapo ones don’t really work on me, but Mr TBBB does actually – it must be a manly thing?! He does make me buy them for him though as he wouldn’t be so unmanly to buy them himself, huh? x
