Don’t bother – OPI Callus Therapy

Don’t bother – OPI Callus Therapy

Even though this has shiny blue packaging that would attract any beauty magpie, don’t be lured in as you will be very disappointed. Now I know for a fact that OPI make fabulous nail varnishes or least that is what I’ve read on loads of other beauty blogs. So when I saw this on HQhair I naturally assumed it would be pretty good.

OPI sez:

Tames the toughest calluses and helps soothe irritating cracks and other associated foot problems. Helps soften with fruit extracts and Shea Butter. Rub on affected areas daily. Use OPI’s callus file as needed.

Is this a foot scrub or a moisturiser? As you can see from the above picture, this is basically a foot cream with some grit in it. I don’t see how this would smooth anything as the bits are few and far between. This reminded me of sun tan lotion that has sand stuck in it and you need to wipe it off as it doesn’t rinse easily. I can’t remember how much I paid as HQhair doesn’t have this on their website anymore. I did some research and found it on Lena White for £16.15 (120ml) so I probably paid this amount or close to it. That is a lot to pay for a glorified foot cream and I couldn’t gift this to someone as I don’t know what they could do with it.

I agree with you, it is not because it is written OPI on the tube that it is going to be a good product and I don’t want to pay more just for the name on it !
Maybe the little bits inside are going to melt when you apply it but it is still weird

I love when people give their honest opinion and don’t just give a product praise because it’s a certain brand. I’ll be sure to stay away from this one! x

@Pinkty – The little bits don’t melt at all which is why I don’t understand what this is supposed to be. This is the problem with bigger brands – you have an expectation and then you are even more disappointed than normal when it doesn’t work.
@Idun – I’m not a brand loyalist at all, as much as I love Molton Brown there are some things that I don’t like from them either. Glad I saved you the money!!!

Thanks for your comments beauty babes! xoxo
