Asian skincare haul!

Hopefully you would have noticed that I’ve not been on holiday to Japan or Korea recently which is a shame but my friend Momoko has given me the next best thing! I sent her some Barry M nail polishes and she in turn sent me these fabulous goodies!

From left to right:

  • Esthe Resort (Japan) – Porotsuru Hada Jelly in Peach
  • Etude House (Korea) – Rich Butter Hand and Foot Mask
  • Touch Nature (Nepal) – Sandalwood Lip Balm
  • Sizuku (Japan) – Rice Face Mask
  • Creer Beaute (Japan) – Honey Face Mask

I don’t know what to try first everything looks so good! Thank you so much Momoko :D

So ladies what do you think of my haulage?

@MsWedgie – I know right, they really take their time over it, and they’d make a killing over here if they sold it! :D

I’m Singaporean and I was just in Korea – if you ever have the chance, you have to get your hands on ‘sleeping packs’ from Korea! I have Baviphat’s Apple Sleeping Pack and Laneige’s Sleeping Pack, and they’re wonderful to put on your face when you go to sleep. You’ll wake up with much fresher, moisturized skin =)

Also, Japan’s DHC is affordable and pretty effective in my experience – at least my bro and I use their line which deals with acne, and it really helps!

BTW, love your blog, thanks for the hard work and for sharing your finds with us <3

Hello Ying
Thanks for your comments about my blog. I feel like I’ve neglected it this month as I’ve not had time to post all that much due to wedding plans and other stuff. I’ve heard of Baviphat before but not sleeping masks. I want to do a Sasa order at some point so I will have a look out for them.

A fellow blogger sent me some DHC samples and I need to try them. If you have any other recommendations for Asian skincare please tell me!

xoxo

don’t worry about it, i’m sure your readers are grateful that you’re sharing stuff with us nevertheless, and as we say in mandarin, jia you (literally, add oil, or all the best!) for your wedding preparations =)

they’re not masks actually, but creams that the koreans call sleeping packs. If the sasa you’re thinking of is the same one i’m thinking of, i’m not actually sure if they carry baviphat. laneige’s more likely though, cos it’s a bigger brand.

and no problem =) i don’t use lots of product myself but i have DHC and the face shop products among my skincare regime; off the top of my head, my friends have recommended masks from the various korean makeup chains (etude house, the face shop, nature republic etc), and mascara from the korean brand holika holika and japanese brand majolica majorca.

I need some sleeping packs right about now! I love that Asian skincare revolves around food, Asian girls must have the best skin in the world! :D
